Recording of Online Demo Sessions
1. Purpose and Scope of Recording
Online demo sessions conducted via the Convio Meetings Platform hosted by Tensai Computers, the parent company of THECARD may be recorded for the sole purposes of internal training and quality assurance, and will be stored securely on our platform.
2. Legal Basis and Consent
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, processing of personal data for a specific purpose is permissible only with valid consent, unless it qualifies as a “legitimate use.” Recording sessions for training and quality control falls under this requirement hence, explicit, informed consent must be obtained from participants.
3. Advance Notice and Opt-Out
We will inform participants in advance that sessions are being recorded. If you do not consent to recording, please notify the Organiser before the session begins, and the recording feature will be turned off for you.
4. Consent Withdrawal
Participants have the right to withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal process will be as easy as providing consent initially, in accordance with the DPDP Act. Withdrawal will apply moving forward and will not retroactively erase prior recordings made before withdrawal.
5. Storage, Access and Security
Recorded sessions are securely stored within our platform. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only, and we implement suitable technical and organisational safeguards to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of recorded content.
6. Data Retention and Erasure
Recordings will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated internal training and quality assurance purposes. Once these purposes are fulfilled or if consent is withdrawn and no longer required, recordings will be securely deleted, unless retention is mandated by applicable law.

We use, process and disclose your Personal Information or Optional Information for the purposes for which the information is collected, or for a directly related purpose, including (but not limited to):
