1) How does THECARD work?
THECARD NFC Cards have NFC chip inside that wirelessly sends your information to a phone when you tap the card on an NFC compatible phone, your contact details automatically gets transmitted to the persons smartphone. The owner of the phone just has to tap “Add to contacts” to save your contact information from the landing page. All THECARD cards also contains a QR code to ensure compatibility with older smartphone devices that do not have NFC compatibility. The phone owner just needs to scan the QR Code from Google or Camera.
2) Is there an app required for this?
No, there is no app required for this. Each user can access it by directly scanning QR Code or tapping with NFC. Or in Case of API, We provide your own personal customer management Dashboard.
3) What is included in the kit?
You receive one physical business card. / Digital Profiles in Case of API
4) Does the tap feature work on all the phones?
The NFC tap feature works on all NFC enabled phones.
iOS device users can directly tap onto to smartphone (Models above iPhone X).
Android device users would have to enable NFC from their settings and then tap below the back camera.
If the android user does not have the NFC option in their settings, they would have to scan the QR code to receive the contact information.
5) What is the material of the card?
The card is a PVC NFC card with Glossy White Color and Matt Black coloured card.
6) Do you provide custom designed cards?
Yes, we provide customised cards with your own design and your own printed matter. Please provide your design in CDR / PSD file.
